Results

During his 10-year career, short track speed skater Mathieu Turcotte won 3 Olympic medals and climbed numerous World Cup podiums. This Sherbrooke native began his speed skating career at age 7. He has since won gold in the relay and bronze in the 1000m events at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games.

He finished his Olympic career at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games held in Turin, Italy, where he won silver in the relay event. Mathieu retired from competitive speed skating in 2007. Today, he presides over Apex Racing Skates, the company he cofounded.
